Now more than ever video has become an effective way to increase learner engagement and motivation in online learning.

In this webinar, LearnIT2teach mentor and developer Marijke Geurts, briefly looked at some of the pedagogical theory, but she then demonstrated a variety of ways to use video in Avenue (a Moodle LMS).

Marijke also discussed how video can be used by learners to create artifacts for portfolio-based language assessment. Registered instructors on Avenue receive access to a demo course at the end of the presentation.
